My Fit Foods on North Lamar
Rosedale friends – have you been to My Fit Foods yet? From what I can tell its a Houston establishment. Someone correct me if I’m mistaken on this.
I love groupon, if you aren’t familiar with it, its a daily coupon of sorts. Instead of giving you a discount that you redeem by some ridiculous two month window frame, you purchase your discount directly and redeem it by some wonderful year or more date! For example, they may offer a $200 spa package for $100 or $20 dollars worth of dining for $10 and so on.
If you’re a business owner and haven’t looked into this take note. Local business tell me that this has had a huge impact in their business. Their volume has gone up considerably. And you know, once you get us in your door and make us happy, we will come back and bring a friend!
So back to My Fit Foods. I haven’t been there yet, but this will get me off the fence to go for sure. Looks like from Yelp, the Houston branches have gotten pretty good reviews. Of course those poor Houstonians … Houstanites… Housties, are just happy they finally have a spot where everything isn’t deep fried!
The My Fit Foods menu looks pretty doable – breakfast, fruit, low carb and meals. Everything from healthy mac n cheese (I’ll be the judge on whether that one is any good) to wraps.
