Sushi A Go Go in central Austin’s Rosedale gets a thumbs up for me.
I finally tried out Sushi A Go Go – I was in a hurry and didn’t feel like doing the typical Taco Shack run through so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I was surprised by the extent of their menu, I hadn’t expected a diverse and extensive selection to be honest. I actually had trouble deciding. I finally settled on the BBQ Eeel after reading the description three times over, I mean really BBQ Eeel?
Being that its a food trailer I had expected it to be a little bit cheaper and faster service, I don’t say that as a complaint because it wasn’t terribly expensive or horrendously slow, but still. I picked one of the cheaper items and it was $6. But some items were listed at $10 and up. And it’s cooked and made on the spot so it took a little longer than I expected. Once again this isn’t a complaint just a change in my expectations.
The outdoor seating was a good choice for the day as it was chilly but sunny, and had it been poor weather the sushi is packed and wrapped for easy travel.
In all I would certainly recommend this as a central Austin eating spot and a Rosedale favorite.
If you have any questions about the Rosedale neighborhood or homes in Rosedale, contact me, I’d be happy to help.
